### Password access

If your account uses a password and you forget it, use the password-recovery option on the sign-in screen rather than creating another account.

Follow the recovery instructions sent through the available verification process.

### Authentication methods

When security methods are available to manage from your account, keep them updated as your devices change.

If you're replacing a phone, computer, authenticator, or other security method, make sure you still have a working way to access your account before removing the old one.

### Keep your account yours

Never provide another person with your password, authentication codes, recovery information, or access to an authentication method registered to your account.
