Understand the Order Workspace
An order in The NEST is more than an appointment on your calendar. It is the working record for the transaction from the time you receive it through completion and payment.
After creating or importing a signing, open the order to access its workspace.
### Location & Signers
This is where you'll find the appointment location and the people signing the documents.
Keep signer contact information current so it is available throughout the order, including when communicating with your signers.
### Order Details
Order Details contains the information that identifies and describes the assignment, including the organizations involved, service information, order or file references, and other transaction details.
### Fee Breakdown
The Fee Breakdown shows the financial components of the assignment.
It helps you see the value of the services you're providing separately from the fee you've agreed to accept for the order.
### Order Story
Order Story keeps communications, notes, and activity connected to the transaction.
Instead of important context disappearing into separate emails, text messages, or notes, the history of the order stays with the order.
### Participants
Participants are the people and organizations involved in the transaction.
Connecting them to the order helps preserve not only what happened, but who you worked with along the way.
### From appointment to payment
As the signing progresses, update the order to reflect what has actually happened.
The NEST uses your order information throughout the platform for scheduling, invoicing, payment tracking, reporting, relationships, and other business workflows.
You don't need to learn every feature in the order workspace before your first appointment. Start with the information you need, then explore the additional tools as they become useful to your business.
