Protect your account
Your NEST account can contain sensitive business and transaction information, so account security is built into the sign-in process rather than treated as an optional extra.
### Follow the security setup shown in your account
The NEST may require additional authentication or security enrollment beyond simply entering a password.
Follow the prompts shown during sign-in or under your account security settings to complete the security methods currently available for your account.
### Keep your authentication methods secure
Only register authentication methods and devices that you control.
Do not share authentication codes, recovery information, security keys, or access to a device that can approve sign-ins to your account.
### Be careful on shared devices
Avoid saving authentication information or leaving an active NEST session open on a public or shared computer.
When you're finished using a device you don't control, sign out completely.
### If something changes
If you replace a device, lose access to an authentication method, or believe someone else may have gained access to your account, review your security settings as soon as possible.
Your account security protects more than your login — it helps protect the business and transaction information you've entrusted to The NEST.
