Customize your Calendar Display
Your NEST calendar can be adjusted to emphasize the information that's most useful to you.
Use the calendar's display settings to change how information is organized without changing the underlying orders or business records.
### Choose how your week begins
You can choose whether calendar weeks begin on **Sunday or Monday**.
Use whichever layout matches the calendar system you're accustomed to using.
### Hide empty calendar space
When enabled, **Hide Empty** reduces unused calendar space so you can focus more easily on dates containing business activity.
This changes the way the calendar is displayed; it does not remove or alter any records.
### Hide completed activity
If completed items are making the calendar too busy, use the available display preference to hide completed activity.
You can change the preference again when you need to review historical information.
### Show weekly totals
Weekly totals can give you a quick financial perspective without requiring you to leave the calendar.
Turn them on when you want that information visible as you review your schedule and business activity.
### Adjust calendar text size
Choose the available font-size option that makes the calendar easiest for you to read.
This can be especially helpful when you're viewing a busy month containing several appointments or other business events.
### Change what identifies an appointment
When schedule display options are available, choose the information that helps you recognize appointments most quickly.
Depending on your workflow, you may find it more useful to identify appointments by the party involved, location, signer, or service.
There is no universally correct choice.
Use the view that lets you look at your calendar and understand your day with the least effort.
### Your preferences don't change the order
Calendar display settings control **how you see the information**.
They do not change the underlying appointment, signer, financial, or relationship records.
That means you can adjust the calendar for the way you work without worrying about altering the orders behind it.
