Calendar events aren't syncing
If your NEST appointments and Google Calendar aren't staying in sync, first check the connection under **Settings โ Calendar**.
### Confirm Google Calendar is connected
Open your calendar settings and verify that the Google account still shows as connected.
If the connection is no longer active, reconnect Google Calendar and complete the authorization process.
### A new connection doesn't automatically mean old appointments were pushed
After connecting or reconnecting, use **Sync upcoming appointments** when you need to push existing upcoming, non-cancelled NEST appointments to Google Calendar.
New appointments should sync automatically after the connection is active.
### Check the correct Google account
The Google account connected to The NEST does not have to be the same account you use to sign in.
If an event seems to be missing, make sure you're looking at the Google account and calendar you actually connected.
### Changes aren't appearing
If an appointment was edited or cancelled in The NEST but Google Calendar doesn't reflect the change, verify that the calendar connection is still active.
If necessary, reconnect the Google account and try the synchronization again.
### Google events aren't appearing in The NEST
Check your calendar import preference.
Depending on your settings, events pulled from Google may appear directly on your NEST calendar as **Calendar Import** events or may be waiting in the **Calendar Inbox** for review.
### Still not syncing?
If the connection shows as active but events still aren't synchronizing correctly, contact support with the appointment date, whether the problem is **NEST โ Google** or **Google โ NEST**, and what you expected to happen.
That distinction helps narrow down which part of the calendar workflow needs attention.
